I recently signed up for an online trading account with Questrade.com. Their online signup is easy and fast compared to another platform I have tried, Tradefreedom.com. I am, however, a little concerned of the ways I can fund my account. See below:

Questrade cannot accept the following funding methods:

Cash
Money orders
Third party cheques or wires (drawn on a bank account in a name dissimilar to the Questrade account title)
Cheques with incomplete information
Credit card cheques or other cheques drawn on credit lines
Credit cards
Direct deposits by cheque or cash into Questrade’s bank accounts
Cheques drawn on foreign banks, even if in U.S. currency.

So from this the one that worries me the most is “cash”. I cannot fund my account with cash. Is this the beginning of the end of cash? I think so…
